What you need to know

CC Diesel ECU and ECM tunes typically add about 20% horsepower over stock. The exact gain still depends on year, make, model, axle, and transmission. High-speed planter kits often need 50–70 more HP than stock. Files are written in-house in Oakes, North Dakota, usually in 5–10 minutes. We do not delete emissions.

What “about 20%” actually means

Some machines cannot safely take 20%. Others can take more. We will not quote a number until we have the specs.

Aron L. saw about 100 HP on a John Deere 9530. Jeff G. reported about 30% on a Case IH 290. Those are individual results, not a promise for every tractor.

Horsepower that shows up in the field

Planters, strip-till, and tillage are the usual reasons farmers ask. Trading up 50 HP can cost well over $150,000.

Aron L. (John Deere 9530): CC Diesel sent me the tune for my 9530 and results were amazing! Added 100hp, really woke it up.

Jeff G. (Case IH 290): 290 Case added 30% HP. World of difference. Best customer support service ever.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from farmers and dealers. Call (701)-587-4368 if yours is not listed.

01

How much horsepower can ECU tuning add?

Across over 5,000 machines, customers typically see about 20% over stock. We confirm after year, make, model, axle, and transmission.

02

Do planter kits need more horsepower?

High-speed planter kits often need 50–70 more HP than stock. That is a common tractor-tuning job.

03

Will more horsepower hurt the engine?

There is risk whenever you add power. We stay inside what the machine can handle under hard use. Maintenance intervals still matter.
