What you need to know

How much HP can you add to a tractor? CC Diesel typically sees about 20% over stock after ECU and ECM tuning. Some machines cannot take 20%. Others can take more. High-speed planter kits often need 50–70 extra horsepower. Files are written in-house in Oakes, North Dakota, usually in 5–10 minutes. We do not delete emissions.

The 20% rule of thumb, not a guarantee

We need year, make, model, motor, axle, and transmission before we quote a number. Aron L. added about 100 HP on a 9530. Jeff G. reported about 30% on a Case IH 290.

Why farmers ask for more horsepower

Planter kits, strip-till, and tillage. Trading up 50 HP can cost well over $150,000. A tune is often the cheaper path.

Aron L. (John Deere 9530): CC Diesel sent me the tune for my 9530 and results were amazing! Added 100hp, really woke it up.

Jeff G. (Case IH 290): 290 Case added 30% HP. World of difference. Best customer support service ever.
