ECU tuning and ECM tuning are the same job: remapping the engine control unit to add horsepower and improve fuel use. It is a cost-effective way to wake up tractors, harvesters, sprayers, and more — without deleting emissions.

How we tune
About our ECU tuning
We write files in-house for agricultural equipment, forestry equipment, and semi trucks. Construction and industrial equipment are quoted case by case.
We offer power uprates only and do not delete, tamper, or hinder emissions systems. Tuning happens by reflashing software in the engine control unit.
Every machine is customized. We adjust fuel tables to increase injection duration so injectors stay open long enough to deliver the fuel needed for more power.
On average we’ve seen about a 20% horsepower increase over stock. That has saved farmers tens of thousands of hours and helped them operate more efficiently.

01What pieces of equipment do you tune?
We’ve tuned tractors, combines, sprayers, cotton harvesters, wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, forestry equipment, semi trucks, and more. We’re happy to discuss custom pieces of equipment you’d like to have tuned.
02How do I get a return on my investment?
ECU remapping helps customers save money in several ways:
- Smaller model optimization: buy a smaller model in a series and add power instead of paying the manufacturer for higher horsepower.
- Maximizing existing equipment: increase horsepower on the machine you have instead of trading in for a larger one.
- Enhanced productivity: more horsepower boosts operating speed, acres per hour, and time for fall tillage, while reducing labor and depreciation.
03Do you delete emissions?
We do not delete emissions, nor do we recommend it. It is illegal to tamper or alter the emissions systems in the USA. Dealerships will also not work on a deleted machine.
04Will ECU tuning void my warranty?
We cannot guarantee that you will not lose your warranty if you tune equipment that is still covered. We have not lost a warranty on any equipment we have tuned to date. If you are worried, waiting until the warranty is up is best. A handheld programmer can return the machine to stock.
05How much power can you add?
Each machine has its own specs. We need year, make, model, motor, front axle, transmission, and rear axle diameter to know how much power we can add. The rule of thumb is about 20% over stock. Some machines cannot safely handle 20%, while others can handle more.
06What industries do you most commonly work with?
Primarily agricultural equipment — tractors, combines, and sprayers — plus forestry equipment and semi trucks. Construction and industrial work is quoted case by case. Skid steers stay under construction. Fleet files stay under semi truck tuning.
07How long have you been tuning, and what’s your background?
Owner Caden Coleman has been tuning since August 2015. Caden farms corn and soybeans in southeastern North Dakota with his dad and runs a line of modern equipment.
