What you need to know

CC Diesel offers excavator ECU and ECM tuning with files written in-house in Oakes, North Dakota. Construction is serviced, not the hero — we quote excavators case by case after year, make, model, axle, and transmission. Typical gains across machines are about 20% over stock, with 5–10 minute turnaround. We do not delete emissions. Pickup trucks are not tuned.

Why construction crews tune the excavator they already own

Contractors who need more excavator power on the machine they already own, without treating construction as CC Diesel’s main market.

Construction crews get a quote after year, make, and model. This is serviced work, not the hero market.

Trading up 50 HP can cost well over $150,000. Files are written in-house, not sourced overseas. That is why over 5,000 machines have been tuned since 2015.

What an excavator ECU tune actually changes

Excavator ECU tuning and excavator ECM tuning remap the engine control unit for digging and tracking power with the emissions system intact. We will not invent a horsepower number until we have the specs.

We do not delete or tamper with emissions. Tuning adds power with the emissions system intact.

We cannot guarantee a manufacturer warranty. We have not lost a customer warranty to date. A handheld programmer can return the machine to stock.
